We’ve got big plans for this smoothie. Picture this: You wake up on a crisp fall morning, put on your slippers, take a luxurious good morning stretch, and quickly whip up this nourishing treat. You mozy out to your patio with this smoothie, blanket in tow. She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s… your new morning staple, none other than this Pumpkin Chai Smoothie.

And not only is this recipe a seasonal must-have, but it’s a nutritious upgrade to boot! Enter pumpkin puree and flax seeds. Pumpkin touts necessary fiber and Vitamin A while flax seeds gift your body with omega-3 fatty acids. No tricks, only treats for your body in this one. 🙂

Create

2 cups frozen bananas

½  cup pumpkin puree

⅓ cup rolled oats

2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp So lean & so clean – Vanilla Chai

1 tbsp Good as gold – turmeric powder

1 tbsp ground flax seeds

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp vanilla extract 

    Directions

    1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
    2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the smoothie has reached a creamy consistency.
    3. Pour smoothie into a cup and top with your favorites (crushed pecans, cinnamon, and coconut whipped cream are my go-to for this smoothie)
    4. Enjoy!
