Muffin Balls

Golden Blueberry Vanilla No-Bake Muffin Balls

Just in time for summer, we give you another no-oven-required recipe: no bake muffin balls.

Our friend Nikki whipped up these bite-sized “muffins” using our delicious golden milk powder.

The golden milk powder not only adds a creamy taste of coconut milk and turmeric but also provides a boost of anti-inflammatory power, with a side of adaptogenic herbs, in every bite.

Need a quick recap on adaptogens? Read up on what adaptogens are and what they do here.

These golden bites are a breeze to cook up since no actual cooking is involved. All you need are a couple of ingredients and most of which are kitchen staples you probably already have on hand.

Plus, these stay great in the fridge for an easy grab-and-go meal prep idea. Perfect as breakfast bites, a mid-afternoon snack, or as our favorite use case by Nikki: a treat to sneak into the movie theatre!

Don’t act as if you’ve never smuggled snacks in to avoid the $15 popcorn buckets. But now you have a more portable snack idea that fits right into your pocket.

  • Turmeric: The Golden Star

The star ingredient in this golden milk powder is turmeric!

What makes this star superfood so golden is its active component, curcumin. Curcumin has been studied extensively for its ability to target and reduce inflammation in the body.[1] Where inflammation has been linked to many chronic diseases, we are all aboard the turmeric trend.

Check out the full list of reasons turmeric is good for you in our blog: What Are The Health Benefits of Turmeric & Curcumin?

  • High in Antioxidants

DID YOU KNOW: Blueberries have some of the highest levels of antioxidants among all fruits and veggies.

The main compounds with antioxidant properties are known as flavonoids. Specifically, the group of flavonoids known as anthocyanins is responsible for most of these benefits.[2]

Note: This recipe has been adapted from the original version to include extra protein, using our vanilla plant-based protein powder. For the original recipe check out Nikki’s post!

Anyways so excited to share the recipe to these GOLDEN BLUEBERRY VANILLA MUFFIN BALLS ✨ made with such quality ingredients like @eatnuttzo peanut pro smooth (literally SO good), turmeric powder (I’ll never use any other turmeric again), @upliftfood vanilla prebiotic powder (offers clean prebiotics so the good bacteria in your gut can thrive and the taste/smell of this is phenomenal – code: FREESHIPPING at checkout to save some money!!), and some other goodies!!! I’m all about convenience when it comes to snacking and I love that these are the perfect grab and go option because I would much rather have one of these than a protein bar loaded with sugar and unnecessary ingredients! Just my opinion though! Hope you love them as much as me ??? Recipe: 1 medium mashed banana 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp @eatnuttzo peanut pro smooth 1/4 cup maple syrup 2/3 cup @bobsredmill coconut flour 1 scoop @upliftfood vanilla prebiotic powder 1 scoop turmeric powder supplement 1/2 cup @stevespaleogoods dried blueberries Mix the wet (nut butter, mashed banana, maple syrup) and dry ingredients (coconut flour, vanilla powder, & turmeric powder) separately.
