Boost your body’s natural collagen production – no animal collagen required.

Made from aloe vera, pea protein, silica, and vitamins C and E, this organic blend of real plant extracts is formulated to help boost your body’s natural collagen production – without any animal products!

Collagen Powders typically come from the skin, cartilage and connective tissues of cows and fish. But ingesting animal collagen doesn’t guarantee your body will effectively absorb and benefit from it. The reason for this is simple, ‘collagen in’ doesn’t equal ‘collagen out’. Your body needs the right amino acids, vitamins, polysaccharides, and nutrients to create collagen that will affect your joints and skin.

That’s why we’ve formulated this superior alternative to animal-based collagen. Ethical, effective, and delicious.

Ingredient breakdown

Amino acids are essential to collagen production and come from protein. We’ve included 3g of organic pea protein in every serving because it’s naturally high in Lysine – an essential amino acid used in the creation of collagen.[4]

Vitamin C does so much more than just support your immune system! Vitamin C regulates the synthesis of collagen and is essential in the hydroxylation of collagen molecules. Hydroxylation is a natural chemical process that helps support the structure of collagen and allows it to support your skin.[7]

If you’ve ever had a nasty sunburn before, you’ve probably felt the cool, soothing properties of Aloe Vera gel on your skin. Aloe Vera has even been shown to improve the appearance of facial wrinkles and skin elasticity.[1]
The reason it’s so helpful to your skin? Aloe Vera is a polysaccharide and polysaccharides play a role in bringing together amino acids to help produce collagen.[2] Collagen is formed in strands (assemblies) and studies show polysaccharides can potentially help create larger, stronger collagen assemblies – think of it as scaffolding to help quickly build longer, stronger collagen strands.[3]

Silica is a natural compound made of two of the earth’s most abundant materials: silicon (Si) and oxygen (O2). There are two types, one used for industrial purposes, and the other used in food (like what we have here). Silicon can be found in your skin and is associated with the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, a group of compounds which deal with the support and maintenance of skin and hair structural proteins such as collagen and elastin.[5]Silica deficiency decreases the amount of collagen found in the body[6] and often leads to brittle nails, while hair strands with higher Silicon content tend to have a lower falling rate and higher brightness.[5]

Vitamin E is used in many topical skin products, but ingesting it has been shown to help protect against collagen cross-linking and lipid peroxidation – chemical events in the body that are both linked to the aging of the skin.[8]

A dab of organic coconut sugar sweetens this powder perfectly. We’ve chosen coconut sugar because it’s one of the most sustainable sweeteners in the world, obtained from coconuts that don’t require any trees to be cut down. It also has a lower glycemic index compared to conventional table sugar. [1]

Unlike coconut water, coconut milk comes from the flesh of mature brown coconuts. The rich and creamy texture is why coconut milk is popularly used in traditional cuisines around the world. In addition to being a delicious plant-based milk alternative, coconut milk also contains Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), which are fatty acids that assist in the metabolic process.[1]

Vanilla adds a delicious flavor to this product. Our natural flavors are organic-compliant, which means we ensure our flavor sources, and the means to extract them, meet the criteria for organic and non-GMO certification. It also means no synthetic pesticides, food radiation, or sewage sludge. Learn more about natural flavors here.

Vegan Dalgona Collagen Booster Coffee
  1. What you'll need:

    2 tbsp instant coffee
2 tbsp granulated sugar of any kind, coconut, brown or white sugar
    2 tbsp boiling hot water
1/2 scoop Ora Organic Vegan Collagen Booster powder in Vanilla
    1 cup any nut milk
    Ice cubes
  2. Add the instant coffee, sugar, boiling hot water, and Vegan Collagen Booster powder into a small bowl and whisk vigorously until you get the consistency of creamy foam peaks. This will take about 15 minutes if you do it by hand, but trust that it will come together! You can also use a hand mixer and it will take about 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a separate glass, pour the nut milk of your choice over some ice and scoop the whipped coffee on top.
  4. Stir to combine the whipped coffee into the milk and enjoy! Can be enjoyed hot or cold.
Collagen-Boosting Chickpea Cookie Dough Balls
  1. What you'll need:

    ½ cup chickpeas (skins removed)
    1 cup almond flour
    2 scoops vegan collagen-boosting powder
    ¼ cup agave syrup
    ¼ cup tahini
    ½ teaspoon sea salt
    ½ teaspoon baking powder
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    vegan chocolate chips
  2. Start by removing the skins from the chickpeas. (This will give you a smoother, creamier cookie dough-like texture.)
  3. Combine all ingredients, aside from the chocolate chips, in a food processor.
  4. Blend until a creamy, uniform mixture is formed.
Transport the dough mixture to a bowl and stir in the vegan chocolate chips by hand. (We used our favorites from Hu Kitchen!)
  5. Roll into 10 even balls.
  6. Freeze for 20-30 minutes until they harden up.
  7. Devour 3 or 4 then hide the rest from yourself because they are addicting. You’ve been warned.

Frequently asked questions

Got a question? We’re here to help!

Amino acids essential to collagen production come from protein, and Aloe gorgeous contains 3g of organic pea protein in every serving. That amount of protein is impossible to cram into a capsule! There’s also a reason we’ve chosen pea protein specifically: the essential amino acid lysine (essential meaning you have to get it through your diet) is a key amino acid in collagen production [1] and Pea Protein is high in lysine content.

Add one scoop of Aloe Gorgeous into your choice of water, plant-based milk, or coffee. Then stir and enjoy. If you have a bit more time to devote, you can add a scoop into a smoothie for a hint of vanilla and some serious collagen-boosting power.

All of the ingredients in Aloe Gorgeous are safe for children 4 years and older, but we recommend consulting with your pediatrician before giving this product to your kiddos.

The ingredients in Aloe Gorgeous are generally safe for pregnant and nursing women, but we’d like you to consult your doctor before taking it just to be on the safe side.

You’re not alone. For quite some time, the beauty industry was cluttered with collagen made from animals because it was thought that ingesting collagen would boost your own collagen supply.

For vegans – and anyone who craves a clean source of collagen – this has always posed an issue. So, instead, we turned to a plant-based collagen solution. We looked at how collagen is built and created a product that has the tools your body needs to build its own collagen: Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, E, Amino Acids, Silica.

Your body knows what it’s doing, so simply give it the building blocks it needs and let it get to work.
