Papaya Acai Bowl

We were lucky enough to find some 'yuuuuge' organic papayas at our local farmer's market the other day, and we couldn't wait to get 'em in the kitchen and experiment with some smoothie recipes! Did you know Christopher Columbus reportedly called it “fruit of the angels” because it tasted so good? So it comes as no surprise that our experiment resulted in a delectable smoothie bowl - and we considered it our duty to share. Did we mention papaya is also a fun word to sing? This summery recipe uses our Organic Acai Powder sourced from Brazil that's packed with antioxidants and vitamin C and blends perfectly with a variety of fruits! Try out this recipe at home and let us know what you think in the reviews below :)

Ingredients
Directions
  1. Blend banana, blueberries, coconut oil, almond milk and half of the papaya
  2. Add acai powder (and probiotic powder if you like!) to mixture and blend 'til smooth
  3. Pour into bowl and dollop coconut yoghurt in the center
  4. Top with remaining papaya and blackberries
  5. Enjoy!
